As a woman, daughter, mum, wife, teacher, coach, and fellow human being, I have experienced the pain of believing I was NOT enough.
So, through this thinking, I shut myself down from fully showing up. I took on such roles as “People Pleasing”, “Rescuer”, “Victim”, “Controller”, and more.
Those roles, I now see, enabled me to survive… despite never really feeling like I belonged. I thought I was helping myself to feel safe, wanted, valued, and enough.
The transformation came through many modalities… and the journey continues.
I came to see I was seeing the world from a place of me thinking I had to be “in control to be heard. To matter”. Oh dear … this was fear based. So, I was constantly choosing to abandon my authentic loving self.
So, how could I disconnect from myself and think I would connect with others?!!! Just not possible!
Nature has also been a huge part of my journey in releasing control, rebuilding trust and developing the art of listening.
The impact of this journey so far, has provided a non-judgemental, freedom-based environment that brings healing through listening.
Hence, the birth of BACKinTRACKtion – the art of connecting!
