BACKinTRACKtion connects with young people aged 7-25, who are struggling with mental health, behaviour, and finding their place in life. They may have tried ending their life to end the confusion, hopelessness or hurt – or had thoughts of wanting to take this option.
THE PROGRAM:
BACKinTRACKtion uses hands on learning, purpose focused experiences through..
* farming from a holistic sustainable approach (including shearing, fencing, mustering, growing foods)
* services reaching out into the community (firewood collecting & delivering, bushfire & flood rebuilding, reading programs in schools with the dogs)
* working with animals -especially those that require leadership (like working dogs and horses)
* environmental regeneration
* connecting to country inc. camping under the stars
* creative work spaces (including and not limited to …. cheffing, wood carving, dress making, fashion design, welding, earth building, animal rescue, etc)
… to embark on this self-discovery, healing and rebuilding program.
